Note the word: swiftly. As a former preacher, I would have told the congregation that when one hears an insertion into one's mind, 'do it now,' or 'You must be swift in making this decision,' or 'Don't think, don't pray, don't question, do it now, ' that is not a voice from the Lord God. It might be your own neurosis or it might even be demonic if it has to do with moral decisions. So, when I hear or read Obama call for 'swiftly' doing this or that, I tremble how quickly the lemmings in the media , the voter blocs and even in conversations with neighbors will not analyse or dissect these demands. 1. Let us remind one another just how many of these demands he has made in just 5 months. Taking over the Census . This stops fair re-districting in 2010 and that might allow some Pubs actually getting a fair deal on who could represent that Congressional district. Health care. He demands that all of this be done before Oct. of this year. Politico goes over all of his plans and says that it must be done now. After all, Politico writes, everybody is in sync on this need. No they are not but after all, the media never nowadays is up front with the truth. Taking over banks and corporations. Now GM is dead. Obama and the UAW now own 60% of this once great company. And btw, did you know that the Stimulus money will not really kick in until the Nov. elections in 2010? Then again, they come around again just in time for 2012. Wow. Talk about staking the deck. So far btw, no jobs or infrastructure dealings, buildings of any note have been accomplished yet the P:rez says all is going along just as the Feds planned. Planned? Swiftly? As companies fail, instead of trying bankruptcy first, the Feds seem to make waves to swiftly take over the means and production of that company. Does anyone want to buy a Yugo from Obama? Not me. And will Citibank still be around or will the Govt. take that over too? My wife and I have our monies in that bank in many phases of investment. Will we be wiped out there too as well as with the trillions in debt, the rise of our taxes , and in my state of Ca., will I even have enough money to deal with that fiscal crisis? Obama then will ask all of us to swiftly accept sacrifice and more taxes to give the non-productive an even chance in society. Really? I have been working since I was 12 years old. No one has bailed me out. I am just a lower middle class guy with two MA's and not much help from all those non-productive. God has blessed us but after all, hard work is not to be sneezed at either. Do I care about the poor et al? Yes, and I give at church and in charities to aid them on many levels. Will Obama then take on non-profits and swiftly tell them how to run their business or will he tax them out of this nation: say the taxing of churches? Swiftly?
